In development · early access open

Carbon accountingworth defending.

We are building a measurement platform for enterprises facing CSRD and CBAM reporting — one where every figure traces back to the record it came from. It is not finished. We are looking for a small group of companies to build it with.

A person reads every request and replies within one business day.

What gets measured

GHG Protocol scopes
  • Scope 1Direct emissions

Fuel burned on site, company vehicles, process and fugitive emissions

  • Scope 2Purchased energy

Electricity, heat and steam bought from a supplier

  • Scope 3Value chain

Purchased goods and services, transport, business travel, waste, sold products

Being built towards the frameworks your auditor will ask about

Named as design targets. We hold no certification against them yet.

What we're building

Four problems we are setting out to solve

This is the intended scope of the platform, not a feature list you can use today. What lands first depends on what the early access group needs most.

Ingest

Data that arrives on its own

The plan is to pull activity data from the systems you already run — ERP, utility accounts, fleet and procurement — and to collect supplier data through a hosted form rather than an email thread.

  • ERP and utility connections
  • Supplier data collection
  • Bulk activity-data import
Classify

Factors applied consistently

Activity data matched to recognised emission factors, with each mapping versioned so a restated figure can still be explained a year later.

  • Versioned factor library
  • Spend and activity based methods
  • Restatement history
Model

Reduction pathways with a price attached

Abatement options compared on capital cost, payback and tonnes avoided, so a target trajectory can be checked against what it would actually take to hit it.

  • Abatement cost comparison
  • Target trajectory modelling
  • Scenario comparison
Report

Disclosures that survive questions

Reporting output generated from the same ledger, with every figure linked to the source record behind it. Designed for assurance from the start rather than retrofitted for it.

  • CSRD / ESRS datapoints
  • CDP and GRI output
  • Source-linked audit trail

Where the product actually is

We would rather tell you this plainly than dress up a prototype. Here is the honest position today.

  1. Now

    In development

The measurement core is being built: activity data ingestion, the emission factor library, and the audit trail that ties every figure to the record it came from.

  2. Target · September 2026

    First release

A working platform for a small group of early customers. This is a target, not a commitment — if it slips, the people in the group will hear it from us first.

  3. Shaped by you

    What lands first

We are deliberately not fixing the launch scope on our own. The request form asks what you need to report and which systems you run, and those answers decide the order of work.

No customer numbers, results or pricing appear on this site because there are none yet. When there are, they will be real.

Questions

The things people ask first

If your question is not here, put it in the request form and we will answer it directly.

Can we use Climetriq today?

No. The platform is in development and nothing has shipped. We are targeting a first release around September 2026 for a small group of early customers. Everything on this site describes what is being built, not what exists.

What will it cost?

Pricing is not set. We are not going to publish a number we would have to walk back once the launch scope is settled. It will be published before the first release, and the early access group will see it first.

Which companies have to report under CSRD?

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive widens EU sustainability reporting well beyond the companies previously covered, phasing in by company size and listing status, and it also reaches non-EU groups with significant EU turnover. Which wave applies to you — and therefore your first reporting year — depends on your specific structure. Check it with your own advisers; it is not something we would confirm for you from a web form.

How will Scope 3 be handled?

The intention is to use supplier primary data wherever a supplier provides it, and to fall back to spend-based or average-data methods where they do not — with every estimated figure labelled as an estimate. Being able to see how much of a footprint rests on measurement versus estimation is the first thing an assurance provider asks about, so it is a design goal rather than an afterthought.

Where will our data be stored?

Not decided yet. Hosting and data residency are among the things we want to settle with the early access group rather than announce and then rework. If you have a specific requirement — a jurisdiction, a self-hosted deployment, a particular control framework — say so in the request form and it will feed into the decision.

What does early access involve?

You tell us what you need to report, which systems you run and when you need it. We come back with what we can realistically cover and by when. There is no obligation and no charge for the conversation, and if we think you would be better served elsewhere for now, we will say so.
