This policy explains what Climetriq collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers the website only; platform customers are additionally covered by their data processing agreement.
1. Who we are
Climetriq is the controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@climetriq.com for any question about this policy or to exercise the rights described below.
2. What we collect
We collect only what the forms on this site ask for:
- Contact form: your name, work email, organisation and message.
- Request form: the above plus your role, phone number if you give one, and your answers about reporting scope, timeline, organisation size and budget range.
- Technical data attached to a submission: IP address, browser user agent and referring page. We keep these to investigate abuse of the forms.
- Analytics data, if you have not blocked it — see section 7.
3. Why we use it
We use your submission to answer you and to prepare a scoped proposal. We use the technical data to rate-limit and to detect automated abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Our legal basis is your consent where you gave it on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and keeping the forms working.
4. Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered by email through Zoho Corporation, which acts as our email processor. Website hosting is provided by our infrastructure provider. Nobody else receives your submission unless you ask us to involve them, or unless we are legally required to disclose it.
5. Where it is stored, and for how long
Submissions reach the Climetriq mailbox at Zoho and are stored on the infrastructure running this website. We are still finalising where the platform itself will be hosted, so we do not claim a data residency guarantee we have not yet put in place — if residency matters to you, tell us and we will confirm the position before you commit to anything.
We keep enquiry records for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then delete them. If you later become a customer, retention will be governed by your contract instead.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and, where applicable, Türkiye's KVKK, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You can also withdraw consent at any time — that does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Email info@climetriq.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies. If a Google Analytics measurement ID is configured, Analytics runs to give us aggregate traffic figures. You can block it with any standard content blocker or browser setting without losing any site functionality.
8. Security
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to submitted enquiries is restricted to the Climetriq staff who handle them, protected by authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal data or credentials through these forms.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
